Bali SIM / eSIM Review
I purchased a 23 GB data + 25 minutes call plan for $14 using a 10% discount code. The service worked well, but for a 7-day trip this amount of data is actually more than needed, especially because most hotels in Bali provide good Wi-Fi. If you are staying only for a week, you can consider choosing a smaller data plan to save money.
The Bali SIM website is very easy to use. After completing the payment, I quickly received the Telkomsel eSIM QR code on my email. The process was smooth and straightforward.
One tip: apply for the SIM before 9 PM Bali time. During working hours the activation is processed faster. If you apply after that time, they usually send the eSIM the next morning.
They send you a Telkomsel eSIM QR code image, which you can easily add to your iPhone or any eSIM-supported device by following simple steps.
To activate the eSIM, you need to fill out a short form with your passport details and upload a passport photo. After submitting the form, it’s helpful to stay in contact with them via WhatsApp, which speeds up the activation process.
The network automatically starts working once you arrive in Bali (Indonesia).
Overall, the whole process was simple, reliable, and convenient. I recommend using an eSIM if you prefer online processing and want mobile data ready as soon as you land in Bali. The telcomsel network is best and it works well at all places you visit in bali. Good speed in 5g network tooo.
